PULL OVER LID
Body of case lifts off base. If equipment is heavy or bulky it is often easier to lift the case body rather than the unit. Case is secured by 4 or more catches.

ROLL IN
Hinged or removable front door. (often used for orchestral equipment, e.g. Drums, timps, xylophones).

 
REMOVABLE LID

Lid is fixed to the case with 2 or more catches.

 
CLAMP ON LIDS OR RACK MOUNT STYLE
Front and rear lids. With rack strip or foam lined interior or both.


HINGED LID / SUIT CASE STYLE

Lid is fixed to the case with strut hinges
(hinges with stays) giving the lid a 90 degree stop.
